Material recovery

Material recovery of liquids and metal hydroxide sludge.

Material from electroplating and other metalworking facilities is sent for recovery processing to recover the metals and unused raw materials they contain.

Thermal recovery

Thermal recovery

Thermal recovery of no longer regenerable solvent mixtures, distillation residues, unusable paint, varnish and adhesive residues, waste oils and plastic waste by appropriate processing of these materials into substitute fuels, e.g. in the cement industry.

Thermal recovery

Photographic chemicals

Photographic chemicals have a residual proportion of ammonia and can be used as a denitrification agent (DeNOx) in the cement industry. We collect and recycle desilvered photo wastewater after appropriate processing.

Collection and sorting of chemical residues

Collection and sorting of chemical residues from laboratories, factories, pharmacies and households that need to undergo detailed identification and separate treatment and disposal. Accurate identification of the ingredients is the prerequisite for environmentally sound treatment of chemical residues.

Sports field surfaces

Sports field surfaces are usually made of plastics with fillers, contaminated with heavy metals, sometimes including mercury.
For artificial turf, we separate the plastic and quartz sand fractions and recover them separately.

RESH (residual materials from shredders)

We dispose of light fraction from non-metallic shredder waste, e.g. from old cars. After separation of the materials the individual substances are supplied to the various recovery branches.

Blasting abrasives
On the basis of quartz sand, waste corundum, furnace slag and steel, metallurgical recovery of the metals present such as zinc, lead and iron.

Disposal of PCB-containing materials

Materials from transformers, large capacitors and insulators are recycled abroad. PCB-containing joints, joint fillers, insulation materials, small capacitors and blasting abrasives are sent for environmentally sound disposal in hazardous waste incinerators in Switzerland and abroad.
